• I read Curse of Chalion this weekend. I thought it started a bit too slowly (or more accurately, was good for the first couple of chapters and then dragged for a few chapters), but really picked up in the latter half. I canceled class for tomorrow which basically means the next time I have to be someplace is class on Tuesday and the next time I really need to do something is write a lecture on Monday. Things are getting very heated at the College of William and Mary. The President of the College announced the Board of Visitor's decision to essentially fire him for ideological reasons and attempt to bribe him into keeping silent on his version of the story.
